More spooky stuff!

Not long after I sent out the October Subspace newsletter, I found several more seasonally appropriate horror and horror-adjacent sci-fi movies streaming on Tubi and Pluto TV. (Including the giant-ant classic Them!) So I decided to go ahead and send a second October issue, because I want everybody to go watch Them! on Tubi. Happy Halloween, y’all!

On Tubi…

The Eyes of Laura Mars (1978) — https://tubitv.com/movies/674333/eyes-of-laura-mars

Humanoids From the Deep (1980) — https://tubitv.com/movies/452490/humanoids-from-the-deep

Lifeforce (1985) — https://tubitv.com/movies/302705/lifeforce — Scantily-clad space vampires!

Monster Squad (TV series, 1976) — https://tubitv.com/series/300002389/monster-squad — Gonzo 1970s kids’ show about monsters who team up to fight evil.

The Nest (1988) — https://tubitv.com/movies/100003800/the-nest — Killer cockroaches!

Scooby-Doo Where Are You! (TV Series, 1969) — https://tubitv.com/series/300006854/scooby-doo-where-are-you — Halloween season is a great time to catch up with Scooby and the gang.

Them! (1954) — https://tubitv.com/movies/100028504/them — This is one of my all-time faves and one of the great sci-fi/horror movies of the 1950s.

On Pluto TV…

Hollow Man (2000) — https://pluto.tv/us/on-demand/movies/5b36cbc0ad1b6cc6521599ac/details — Paul Verhoeven’s take on the invisible man story.

The Monster Squad (1987) — https://pluto.tv/us/on-demand/movies/590bfa64114615beb3525001/details — Kids team up to fight a crew of iconic monsters.

Planet of the Vampires (1965) — https://pluto.tv/us/search/details/movies/62b3384b73db9e001376eb62 — The great Mario Bava directed this creepy, weird, stylish, and influential (it was a big inspiration for Alien) sci-fi flick.

Spider-Man (2002) — https://pluto.tv/us/on-demand/movies/66f1af73a0ed47001378381d/details — Not a horror movie, but it’s great. And the bad guy is the Green Goblin, and he is obviously a fan of Halloween.
